English Module

Please follow these directions to help guide you through the module:

  1. Open  the English module site. Be sure to open this in a new window or tab so you still have this instruction page available!
  2. Activate the "Click to Log In" button.  You will need to activate your Duo Two-Factor Authorization in order to log in.
  3. The first seven pages are informational; read the information on each page and then click the next arrow.
  4. The next three pages will establish whether to recommend one of the Composition for Multilingual Students (CMS) options OR one of the native speaker options in the English Composition program.  Please read each question carefully and answer yes or no.
  5. The next page is informational; read the information on the page then click the Continue button.
  6. The next page will have two buttons with the two different English options.  The one semester option (ENG 209 or ENG 114) and the two-semester option (ENG 201/202 or ENG 104/105).  Click the first button to learn about the one semester options.
  7. There will be a few pages with information about this option and then a short video.  You must watch the video before continuing.  Once the video is done, a continue button will appear.  Click the Continue button.
  8. Now click the second button to learn about the two semester option.
  9. There will be a few pages with information about this option and then a short video.  You must watch the video before continuing.  Once the video is done, a continue button will appear.  Click the Continue button.
  10. There is one page of information, please read and then click the next button.
  11. The next several pages is questions regarding your learning style.  Choose which option best describes you on each page and then click next.
  12. Once you get to the final page, you will see your recommended class listed across the top.  This recommendation is based on your answers from the previous pages.  You do not have to choose this class.
  13. Your final step is to choose which class you would prefer.  You can either follow the recommendation, or choose the other class. If you are on the CMS track you will see three options.  ENG 204 is not offered this semester so please do not choose this option. 
  14. Once you have clicked on your choice, click the Submit My Course Choice button.
